Current Teaching Activities

Summer Quarter 2022

Online teaching for the UCLA Master of Science in Engineering Online (MSOL) program. The two courses below are part of the Aerospace Engineering Area of Study

  • MAE 150B Aerodynamics
  • MAE 250D Computational Aerodynamics

Past Teaching Activities

Fall Quarter

  • MAE 182C, Numerical Methods for Engineering Applications
    • This is an undergraduate course also taken by graduate students. Graduate students who wish to take the course must request a PTE (Permission To Enroll) number from me. Please send me an e-mail request including the following information: your full name, UCLA SID number, UCLA department, and major.

  • MAE 250C, Compressible Flows
    • This is a graduate course. It is part of the major field body of knowledge for the PhD qualifying examination in Fluid Mechanics.

Winter Quarter

  • MAE 250D, Computational Aerodynamics
    • This is a graduate course offered every other Winter. If you plan to take it but have not taken MAE 250C and MAE 182C (or equivalent), please make sure you plan ahead in order to be prepared for MAE 250D.

  • MAE 250F, Hypersonic and High-Temperature Gas Dynamics
    • This is a graduate course offered every other Winter. If you plan to take it but have not taken MAE 250C, please take it in the Fall in order to be prepared for MAE 250F.

Spring Quarter

  • MAE 150B, Aerodynamics
    • This is an undergraduate course in aerodynamics. Prerequisites include MAE 103 and MAE 150A.
